Chapter 76. Denied

Kyle’s POV

Zach has gone missing. There was no sign of his body inside the burned-down pack house, which can only mean that he ran. I thought his allegiance to the Twilight Pack was stronger than his allegiance to his sister, but I guess I was incorrect.

Beta David, on the other hand, has stayed loyal. He refuses to speak of his daughter, but he remains at my side nonetheless.

The two of us are waiting inside the Starlight pack house, waiting for Alpha Leo to join us. I try to suppress my nerves, but it is becoming difficult as time passes. I know he is keeping us waiting to intimidate us. Alpha Leo holds all the cards, and he knows it.
