Chapter 79. Enemy Territory

Kyle’s POV

No one tries to stop me when I drive into Warrior Pack territory. I don’t see any warriors on patrol, but I know they are watching me. Glancing into the trees that line the road, I accidentally turn my wheel, and my car rumbles into the grass. I overcorrect, and the back of the car serves wildly into the trees.

My car smashes into a tree, and my head hits the steering wheel. I squeeze my eyes shut, and blasts of light shoot behind my lids. There is a knock on my window, and I squint to see who is there.

A male werewolf with brown eyes is staring in at me. It’s not Atticus, but he is still large. I attempt to roll my window down to talk to him, but it shatters. Peeking my head out of the car, I look him up and down. He is completely naked.

I pull my head back into the car and try to put it in reverse. The engine revs loudly, and the wheels spin, but the car doesn’t move.

“Hey,” the guy yells. “I don’t think it’s going to move.”
