Chapter 445. Nothing My Wolf Can’t Heal

Apphia’s POV

“Come, dearest Apphia. I won’t harm you; I’ll teach you how to use your powers as they should be,”

“No,” I growl.

“Take the humans to safety,” I order to no one, not taking my eyes off the vampire seeker. The vampires pay no mind or attempt to kill the humans; they are all watching the standoff.

Before I can get a word out, vampires fly towards us, and Chelsea pushes me a few feet back as they lunge towards the seeker. I get to my feet and feel a ripple of darkness surround me. Nick is beside me. He glances at me, making sure I’m not injured. Around us, everyone is fighting. Duncan and Drake, whom I hadn’t seen earlier, are fighting viciously, too.
