Little Love ran to me and wrapped her small arms around my waist. “Mommy, I missed you,”

Love and Caliana have had a great relationship, while I didn’t. I inhaled and got one knee to hug her

“I missed you too, how was camp,” I asked.

“It was so cool! Thank you for letting me go!” She jumped up and down. I stood up and asked the chef to prepare some food and when I went to my bedroom, she followed. What?! I groaned inwardly. Love told me every little detail that happened at the camp and I always repressed a groan or rolled my eyes. I don’t understand kids honestly, what’s so special about dancing and telling stories around the campsite?
