Chapter 33. Gery's Memories
"But Eve is the one in danger, Gery. Don't get your panties in a bunch! What a jealous man!" Madame Daphne scolded Gery and then told Sofia to carry out her orders.
Sofia then called Eve and asked her how she was doing. She asked if she could come to the Foster's house tonight or if she could visit Eve.
"Oh, I'm fine, Mrs. Sofia. Please tell Mrs. Daphne not to worry. Because Mr. Gery helped me, I'm fine now," Eve replied on the other end of the line.
"Thank goodness for that. Then do you want to come here? Mrs. Daphne is eager to see how you are and whether you need anything for self-protection." Sofia repeated her original question.
"Oh, for that... I'm sorry. I am fine but a little tired. Can I go there tomorrow, maybe? Right now, I want to rest and sleep," Eve says hesitantly.
