Chapter 40. The Game of Deception
"Everything is in order, Ma'am. If you're ready, you can go straight to the hospital. Everything has been prepared by Dr. Dean there, and I have coordinated all the servants in the house," Sofia reported as she poured hot aromatherapy tea into Madame's cup.
"Then we can leave shortly after breakfast, yes." Madame Daphne smiled.
"Gosh, I'm going to have to act after this. Let's hope my dramatic instincts are still reliable, Sofia," continued Madame Daphne, to which Sofia smiled back.
"I'm sure you'll be able to handle everything."
Sofia then went to have one of the servants pack some clothes for Mrs. Daphne's three-day hospital stay and her personal things. At the same time, Mrs. Daphne went downstairs to enjoy her breakfast.
After breakfast, they left for St. Pedro's Hospital, where Dr. Dean was practising. Dr. Dean there had asked the hospital for permission to take total supervision and treatment of Madam Daphne and not allow any other doctor to inter
