Chapter 51. Satisfied

Cheryl poured champagne into a glass as she looked out the large glass window overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The light from the tower contrasted with the slightly cloudy night sky.

She glanced repeatedly at the cell phone lying on the table, waiting for a call from someone she had been waiting for all day. It wasn't long before her cell phone rang.

Cheryl immediately put down her glass of champagne and grabbed her cell phone. A familiar male voice came on the other end.

"Our plan worked," Dave said, making Cheryl smile widely.

It was not in vain that she poured money into bailing Dave out of prison. The tasks she gave him would always be successful. That's why Cheryl dared to guarantee Dave to get out of prison.

"Good, it's not in vain that I paid so much for you." Cheryl grinned widely. She couldn't keep quiet when Gery was close to a woman other than her. Cheryl felt very unacceptable, especially since Mrs Daphne strongly supported their relationship.<
