Chapter 39. Private Paradise

The trip to Angra dos Reis was quick and left me amazed; after all, I had never been on any plane before. I had never even been in front of an airport, so everything was very new to me. The luxurious jet left me in awe, and the speed with which we arrived in Angra was surprising.

But the surprises didn't stop there. Soon, we transferred from the jet to a helicopter, where the pilot efficiently awaited us. I couldn't contain my excitement, as I had never imagined that I would travel with such luxury and extravagance one day.

After the awkward atmosphere in the small room on the jet, Liam and I didn't exchange a single word during the trip, which was made in complete silence. He seemed to be focused on the scenery outside, and I admitted to myself, quite embarrassed, that I was focused on Liam's beautiful profile. I tried to do it discreetly, hoping he hadn't noticed.

The beauty of the landscapes and the thrill of the helicopter ride ended up dissipatin
