Chapter 56. Moments of Lust

 I could hardly recognize Liam in the smiling and completely relaxed figure in front of me. But I have no complaints, I thought, trying to contain the silly smile that would surely appear on my face.

 "Perhaps it's time for me to retire for the rest of the afternoon," I boldly agreed with Liam.

 "I feel the same need as you do..." Liam quickly concurred.

 Suddenly, and somewhat unexpectedly, he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the hallway. It was impossible to suppress the spontaneous laughter at Liam's hurried behavior, which seemed quite eager to get to the room. The relaxed energy between us was wonderful, and I was more than willing to enjoy it.

 Liam and I managed to reach the room without encountering any of the guests along the way, which is truly impressive considering the number of people in the house. Liam barely closes the door, and he eagerly embraces me, kissing me.
