Reminiscence

The images which were a blur in his mind were taking their shape and he gasped on his reminiscence. He put two and two together and promptly he started checking out.

“Priya.” He shouted frantically running his hands through his hair. Anxiety was written all over his face.

“Dad must be sleeping. Waking him is not a good idea. How do I know about Priya? Did she get hurt? Oh! God, please help me.” Viren started roaming in his house searching for his answer.

He felt some movement behind. On turning what he saw took his breath. He ran and hugged her.

“Priya, are you alright?” He switched the light on and started searching for any bruises.

“Viren Ji, what are you doing?”

“Priya, it is Viren, I had told you to call me the same. I can ask you the same.”

“I heard some sounds and thought maybe dad needed something. What were you doing?” Something clicked
