Shared Birthday

The rooftop was decorated in red and white balloon fairy lights and in the middle was a big cake with a couple dolls.

“You had told me that it is a business dinner, but it looks like a birthday party.”

“Like you, I’m also surprised. Dad had told me the same.”

“Please welcome a couple of the day, Viren and Priya.” The event manager welcomed the two.

“Dear son and loving daughter in law. I knew that my work alcoholic kids would forget today’s date. Happy Birthday, kids. It seems you both were oblivious to the fact that not only did you share your life but the beautiful day that gave you this life.
