Chapter 157. To Paxton

Third-Person POV

“I can't stand it anymore. I'm going to take her back. Alex can no longer keep her captive, I have a right to my child,” Zane said on the phone, informing his friend, Alpha King Jerney, of his departure for Paxton.

He had taken with him a geographic map that Becca had previously used to drive to her pack. Zane knew that Paxton must be close to the lake where Becca had been staying for several weeks.

Becca sent him some pictures of his baby yesterday. His son was sleeping peacefully with his hand under his blond head. He saw himself completely in the little guy. He couldn't sleep all night; he just stared at his baby’s picture. He sent the photos to his secretary with the assignment to have them enlarged and framed to hang in his office. The next time he entered there, he wanted to see them already on the wall and his desk.

But now he couldn't handle the stress of waiting for his wife and child.

“Zane, please, keep yours
