As she waited for an answer, Becca paced the room, her mind racing.

She couldn't let Elyon win. She had to find a way to break the bond, to protect her son and her future with Zane.

Finally, her phone buzzed, and she quickly read the message from Jonas.

"Don't worry, we have a plan. Just go with him."

Relief washed over her. She wasn't alone in this. She had allies, people who cared about her. She had to believe they could find a way out of this mess.
