“Looks like I have to deal with you myself. I hate you so much!”

It was more my irritated wolf that growled from deep within her.

It's so humiliating to watch a mate run off after another she-wolf without even bothering to inform me of where he's going or why. It gave me a feeling of insignificance as if I didn't matter to him. I've realized for quite some time that he doesn't truly love me, he's just yielding to the mate bond and his parents' expectations.

I know for a fact that his heart belongs to Becca, and it might always stay that way.

I found out from the Beta that before he met me, Elyon had been in a long-term relationship with Becca and ended it upon realizing I was his destined mate. Becca was upset because they had agreed to reject their fated if either of them ever encountered theirs.

All signs suggested that Elyon was inclined to reject me, but his parents consistently intervened. On the day of my Luna cer
