I'm waiting for the opportune moment to have a one-on-one conversation with Marelva. I'm interested in understanding more about her aversion to Becca and possibly collaborating with her to remove this thorn in my side from both Paxton and Moon Shine. I've come to realize that Elyon is willing to let Paxton go down just for the sake of having Becca back.

Therefore, it would suit everyone if she disappeared forever, far from our sight. The peace treaty between the packs, Alex's pride as Alpha, and my mating are all on the line here. And I believe the feeling is mutual; Becca clearly wants to be anywhere else.

Finally, I saw the opportunity I'd been waiting for. Marelva stormed out of the packhouse, clearly seething with rage and desperate to breathe in some fresh air. She resembled a brewing storm, her eyes ablaze with fury. It seemed she had clashed with her mate, and the reason wouldn’t be hard to imagine. Of course, that would be Becca.
