It felt as if I'd conquered a significant portion of the battle.
My private apartment came with a kitchen, bathroom, and an overlook of the expansive forest. Although Alex was hesitant to comply, he eventually honored the Elders' command and provided me with this sanctuary. I was quite content here, spending all my time in these quarters now.
Two days ago, I went to the grocery store with the Head Warrior and stocked up my pantry. This meant I could avoid going to the general kitchen and dining area where Alex and others usually gathered.
