Cara's POV

Emmaline stared at me. I could see the hatred in her eyes. Teo had told me that I was her biggest opponent. I looked her in the eyes.

"If you wanted to talk to me, I believe you should start talking; I seriously have no time to waste."

She laughed, "What are you busy with? Unimportant stuff, I guess; sitting down in your room is all you do with your day.

I turned away, about to leave her behind.

"Haven't you wondered where he slept? Rollins,  I mean"

I turned back to her.

"Yes, Turn around, retrace your steps. He visited me; every night he wasn't with you, and what a fun night we had. Last night was pure magic. Didn't I warn you? No one can take him away; he can never be satisfied. You are just another girl from his hunt; he is done with you and has taken all he wanted. Now you are useless to him, and so, of course, he would come back to the only person who could really make him happy—me, of course.
