Chapter 79
Cara's POV
Teo returned with some food and a plain gown, which he had forced me into.
"Eat," he ordered, but I ignored him. I felt too sick; my hands ached, and the silver burned into my skin.
"You could make this all easy on yourself; just eat the damn food, Cara."
"I can't eat with the cuffs," I finally spoke out. As much as I didn't want to eat, I had to think about my child; he or she needed to be healthy. I was worried that all that was going on would affect my unborn baby, I didn't want to think about the accident.
"I could feed you," Teo suggested, but I shook my head. I needed a few minutes without those cuffs. He inhaled, annoyed, as he took out the key, setting me free. I traced my hands over the redish, irritated skin, and his eyes followed my movement.
"Eat," he ordered again, and I took the plate of food with shaky hands.
He sat beside me.
