Chapter 80
Cara's POV
"Say something," Teo begged. I laid motionless on the bed. It had been another one week; I barely ate; I had not said a single word since I lost my child. No matter what he did or said, yes, he still had sex with me, but he didn't seem to enjoy that anymore, mostly because I wasn't reacting to anything. This was the only way I could escape this place. I lived in my mind. I was here physically, but mentally, I was absent.
"Please, Cara, forgive me... I can't let you die; you need to eat something."
I stared away from him. "Don't make me force you, Cara; just eat the damn food!"
He threw over the only furniture in my room, the poor wooden thing chattered to pieces. I didn't flinch.
He paced around the room, passing his hands through his hair, again and again- they had grown quite longer than he ever allowed them to be this paste few weeks.
