Chapter 19. Congratulations
Grace’s POV
Reliving all those memories gave me reassurance that all I was doing was right and for the sake of my happiness.
I picked up Layla’s phone and stepped out of the car. I walked a short distance in front of the car and threw the phone to the concrete floor.
I stomped on it until it was nothing rubble. I looked at it with a satisfied look on my face.
Oh, the sweet taste of victory.
Goodbye video and goodbye, Layla.
“I hope you rot at the bottom of hell, Ciao, Amiga,” I said with a full-blown smile on my face.
I looked at a shovel to my right. It was calling me, and I answered.
I picked up the shovel and smashed the phone one last time before burying it with a little amount of sand.
I don’t think that was relevant, but it was so much fun. I smiled to myself as I patted the shovel on the top of the small amount of sand.
With a release of a sigh, I stood up and dusted my hand on my trousers.
