Layla’s POV

It’s been two months since I wiped away from the face of the earth.

Since the day of my fatal accident with Grace, I hadn’t stepped out of my apartment.

I decided it was best to stay hidden refine my skills and study more recent designs to be ready for the interview.

I was confident that I could bag the job with my skills, but I still practiced some more with the little resources I had at home.

I surfed the web every day, watching videos on jewelry making, polishing, and the rest, and spent the rest of my time reading and researching.

I’d say I did quite a good job preparing, I never let a moment waste without learning something new or practicing what I already knew.

I applied to a very prestigious jewelry company. Specifically, the one in rival with Grace’s company. They were Grace’s biggest competition and were extremely good at what they did.

Even Grace had to admit it sometimes despite her ego.
