Chapter 31. Grace’s Provocation
Layla’s POV
“Where do you think you’re going? I’m not done talking to you. Have you no manners?” Grace spat with the tip of my hair in her fist.
Thank goodness my hair was long. I turned to her and gave her a deadly glare, which made her cackle like a sick witch.
How I wished someone could come and save me from these two.
“Please release me,” I said while gritting my teeth internally.
“And why shall I do that?” Grace asked and leaned closer to my face.
“How dare you breathe again? I was sure I finished you off. I do hope you’re not thinking of getting back at me. I’m sorry darling, but that’s not your strong suit, ok?” She said before releasing my hair and touching the tip of my nose with her index finger.

“Do you still need anything from me?” I asked, still trying to keep my cool even though I knew I could lose my cool any time soon.
