Chapter 34
The next morning. I listened to Chris's car driving in. I stared out the window, and he looked exhausted, stepping out of the car.
We met downstairs. He was just getting in, and I just left my bedroom.
"Good morning, Sophia, Are you awake?" He chuckled strangely.
"Yes! Good morning, Chris, but tell me, where were you last night?"
Immediately after I questioned where he was, he stopped for a while and stared like he was lost in space.
I had to pull him over to me again by snapping my fingers in his face.
"Are you okay? You seem odd this morning." I pulled my back again.
Chris, however, says not to pay any attention to him. He might have left, using that as coverage to hide me from knowing what truly happened.
I'll have to find out the truth.
