Chapter 10

The road leading to where Emilia was supposed to go on a date with Andrew was kind of rusty. The road was bumpy, and the car shook a bit every time it hit a bump. It was a long ride.

Emilia was going on a date with Andrew. Emilia was really excited about it.

“You look beautiful,” Andrew said as she entered the restaurant.

“Thank you,” Emilia said as she sat down across from him.

Andrew and Emilia had been seeing each other for a few months. It had started off as a friendship, but then it became more than that. They started dating, and they became more than friends.

“I want to spend more time with you,” Andrew said.

“I want to spend more time with you, too,” Emilia said. “But, I don’t know if we are rushing things too much in our relationship.”

Andrew took a deep breath and said, “Emilia, I’ve been thinking about this for a while now.”

“What have you been thinking about?” Emilia asked.

“I want to get married,” Andrew said.
