Several days passed, and Alastor remained unconscious, although his temperature had significantly improved. Estan and Maya dedicated all their time to caring for the dragon, while the rest of the group prepared for their upcoming journey.

After several weeks had gone by, Alastor finally woke up. Opening one eye, he spotted Estan sitting beside him. "Did you miss me?" he asked playfully.

Estan smiled at the dragon's remark. "Not really," he replied with a light-hearted tone.

Alastor rolled over in bed, then sat up straight, stretching. "Sorry," he quickly added. "I didn't mean it like that. I just feel better now. Thank you for taking such good care of me."
