Ruby

Still in the jacuzzi, I kept my eyes closed, loving the peace.

“Are you asleep?” Vexon’s voice interrupted my beauty bath, which made me groan.

“Yes, I have a habit of talking while sleeping,” I retorted and continued drowning in the white bubbles which smelt like chocolate.

Oh my! This feeling is heavenly.

“You better get out of there within five minutes, Ruby. It’s been an hour,” he complained, standing outside the door.

I let out, “A few more minutes.”

“Three minutes left from five, and I will burst in if you don’t come out.” His tone was very alarming.

Instantly, I got out of the jacuzzi and wore my light pink bathrobe.
