Chapter 32. Overnight

I had almost no sleep when Roy and I got home. It was around four in the morning. Just the right time to prepare breakfast for them. Luckily, I managed to get some rest in the car on our way back. I was mostly concerned about Roy since he still had work to do and hadn't had any rest.

Everyone had gone their separate ways after we dropped off the siblings, and I also got a ride home. Auntie Anne had given some tasks to Jugs, so after dropping me off, he left as well.

I was yawning when I threw myself on the sofa. I wanted to take a short nap before cleaning up later and sleep was quick to overpower me, but I woke up when I felt a gentle stroke on my cheek.
