Chapter 33. Library
I sat on the library floor, facing Roy, who was busy with his work. There were piles of papers in front of him. I didn't have anything to do, so I looked at him. I grabbed a piece of paper and read it, but I still didn't understand its purpose, so I put it back.
I slumped down in front of him and observed what he was doing. There was a lot of writing, signing, and other tasks. It had been about two hours since he started. He could have done this work in their bedroom, but he insisted that it's better in the library in case he gets sleepy and prioritizes finishing these tasks.
I stood up from where I was sitting and moved closer to him. Even if he glanced at me, he couldn't be bothered! I pouted. I knew he was busy, but couldn't he spare a second for me?
I attempted to sit on his lap, causing him to drop
