Chapter 50. Result
The sound of a machine woke me up. I wasn't surprised to find myself lying in a hospital bed. Mr. Erick must have brought me here after the incident earlier.
I rubbed my eyes and silently stared into space. I could get up, but I chose to remain lying down. Ms. Hazel might scold me again like she did last time when I had a breakdown.
I looked at the door as it opened, and Ms. Hazel entered, immediately walking over to me.
"You're awake. How are you feeling?" she asked and closed the door before approaching me.
"I'm okay now, Ms. Hazel. Thank you," I replied, feeling embarrassed. I found myself accumulating more and more debt of gratitude to them. I was buried in debts I didn't know if I could ever repay.
"You fainted earlier. It's a good thing Erick brought you here. We can take better care of you in the hospital," she said.
"I'm sorry for the trouble, Miss." She nodded.
"Your ulcer acts up, that's why you passed out. Don't you eat breakfast
