The next moment I wanted to turn my attention back to Timothy, but he couldn't be found. He had simply disappeared in all the chaos without me even being able to spot him anywhere. His fear of the king was huge and this proved it. He had left faster than anyone else. Among other things, that was a relief for me.
Amun finally stopped next to me and I looked up at this graceful animal. He was the perfect killing machine and not just visually. The concern in his golden eyes was unmistakable. It was a miracle that I could even see it because he was very tall.
To appease him, I said, "It's all good. Thanks for your help." As soon as this was said, a sword flew through the air, directly towards Amun. I reacted immediately and slowed down this weapon with a fireball so that no damage was done to my mate.
I looked in the direction from which the sword had come, who had been stupid enough to attack the king.
