Alec's POV

So I ran towards the car and put everything in the trunk. Since there was still a lot to prepare, I'd have to get ready in the pack house. So Val was here undisturbed and could get ready without me seeing her first. I was just about to start the car when I remembered.

I jumped out of my seat and stormed back to my office. There I tore open my top drawer and pulled out the little box. The Rings. That would have been something if I had forgotten them. With the rings in my pocket, I left the house again and let the door close before I made my way to the pack house.
