Alec's POV
She also wanted to do less. She has increasingly given up things that she had loved to eat, drink, or do a while ago. On one hand, I was worried that she was still reticent about the incident at our wedding, but she assured me that she was fine. Her wolf hasn't come to the surface in a while either. I had shown her how to keep your inner wolf at bay but over five months?
That seems a little long to me. Maybe I should talk to her today. I'm starting to think and worry about her. It's not that she's getting depressed or that she doesn't like it here anymore. Let alone regret marrying me. Panic began to rise within me and I became increasingly uneasy. Maybe I neglected her too. We only have a short amount of time left together. Maybe I should hire someone else to do the work for me.
The most logical explanation is to simply talk to her. "That's what we do." I jumped up from my chair euphorically and ran towards the door.
