When I opened my eyes, Holland laughed at the brief "what the hell" moment that I had. Holy crap, she's beautiful. To confess that I take pleasure in being held by her does not in the least bit wound my pride. When I raise my head, I notice her peering down at me as if examining my face in the warm sunshine of the morning very carefully and paying close attention to every detail.
Her eyes briefly became red, which indicated that Merci was also vigilantly observing; heck, she was the one who was responsible for this the whole time.
