Chapter 7

"Omega Myrtle," Oh my moon, the sight on her face when I blurted out, "Hade here is my mate, and so are you." The poor girl appeared to be experiencing shock. She opened her mouth, furrowed her brows, and stared intently. How frank am I coming across?

No one said anything for a few minutes, letting her comprehend the enormous news we just revealed. She looked down at the floor blankly. Why didn't she meet our gaze?

I glanced at Hade, who seemed just as perplexed as I was. Is there anything we can do to put her mind at ease? Her heart was thumping a thousand times per second. Oh God, what if she decides she doesn't need us?

"Myrtle, please say something," Hade said, she looked up at us from her internal monologue.

Myrtle asked in a trembling voice, "Are you sure?" This made me want to wrap my arms around her and never let go.

“We are Myrtle, and we know you are our mate,” I added softly.
