Jungso stood in the corner of the house, where the scent of lavender lingered. Everything was ready, it was clean, and it was certainly just the way Lucy and Ryeon had envisioned it. He heard the sound of Ryeon's distinctive car and chuckled, heading to the new large window in the living room that provided a view of the covered garage. He smiled as he saw his son-in-law turn off the old car, and he hurried outside to embrace his daughter as she got out of the Escort.
"I missed you," Jungso quickly said, hugging her tightly.
Lucy smiled, indicating that she had missed him too. Her eyes wandered over the renovated facade of the house, and she caught her breath. She had seen how it turned out in the end, but nothing compared to seeing it in person.
"It looks incredible, love," Ryeon said, equally enchanted by the modern facade.
