When he woke up in the morning, Cassia had already left for work, and instead of him cooking for her like he wanted, she cooked for him instead.

Thorn sighed, seeing the breakfast his wife had cooked for him. "So much for being a good husband?" Thorn asked before sitting down at the table to have breakfast.

These past few days, since Cassia has been living in his house, he is getting used to eating breakfast; he used to be content with just coffee. Maybe it's because he doesn't want to waste what his wife cooks, so he eats it all.

Thorn was still annoyed at himself even after driving to work. When he parked his car in his restaurant's parking lot, he wanted to punch himself when he remembered that Cassia's car broke down yesterday. That means she commuted to work.

Fuck! How could I not wake up early?

Thorn reached for the cell phone on the dashboard of the car and looked for Cassia's number.
