As a chef, Thorn is used to getting burned. It's not a big deal to him. But that time, he couldn't accept being burned because of his stupidity. What was he thinking by letting his hand slip and touching the hot pot carelessly? Wait... Was he even thinking? because if he could remember clearly, his mind was blank at that moment.
And that was all because his wife faced him, and their faces were in close proximity. His mind went blank instantly, along with his lungs. Yes, his lungs went blank as well because somehow, in those few seconds that his wife's face was close to his, his lungs didn't function well—he stopped breathing.
And because he was burned twice, literally, he had to rest from cooking for a few days because the second burn got his fingers good. and since he can't distress himself with cooking, he wants to find something else to entertain himself so that he can get his mind off his wife, who he doesn't know how to think about.
