I couldn’t say how much time passed from our first conversation with Lucifer and the agreement, and to when I finally broke out of whatever shell I was in. Everything was hazy, separating me from the outside world. It was dark too. I couldn’t even make out Luci anywhere. I was just alone with my thoughts for company. Had it worked, or had it failed?
