The sky had never been so high. Hadley stood like stone, staring at the building in front of her.
She had just finished a dinner meeting with her colleagues, and somehow, fate seemed to be making fun of her.
A wry smile appeared on her lips. She was doing everything to remove Jethro from her system, but it just happened that the restaurant they had dinner at was opposite the young man’s condominium.
A week had passed since he bid goodbye, but it wasn’t enough time for someone to move on. Hadley’s heart was still vulnerable at the moment. It was pounding rapidly even in the sight of his apartment.
