Benedict took Hadley to this famous and refined Japanese restaurant which was outside the metro. He barely had information about her likes and dislikes, so he had to ask her secretary. He learned that she’s fond of Japanese food. He would take every moment to his advantage, having quality time and observing even the minor aspects that would make his wife happy. He’d have been a jerk, a burden, and a fucking headache to her for so long, which made him fully aware of the fact that he got the slightest chance to make it with Hadley. Still, he was hoping she would let him because, for all it’s worth, Benedict wants nothing but to give her the happiness she deserves.
