Chapter 4

Tracy Michaelson was originally disliked by the Pattinson family, and once the phony pregnancy was revealed, they were much more horrified with her. Tracy has always been treated with coldness and indifference.

It's no surprise Sean was upset this time.......

Tracy returned to Glenda's residence. Her doubts grew after meeting Amanda and Sean in Twilight. Sean is dragging the divorce out in order to get vengeance on her. He just wanted to disgust her so she'd wear bright cosmetics and a flushing hat whenever she went.

This is his retribution for what she did to him before.

Sean had the patience to drag, but Tracy couldn't keep spending her time with him in this manner. Tracy expected to make arrangements for her future when they finished the divorce process.

"I can't go on living like this!" I need to work in order to survive..." Tracy said.

"... You visit our publication! Our publication recently announced plans to hire a designer and create its own brand." Glenda stated as she tossed aside the potato chip she was holding.

Tracy grimaced and rubbed her chin, "I... Okay, but I haven't produced a work in three years now..." she whispered.

"I know you can do it, baby. Try it anyhow; there is no risk." Glenda confirmed this with a big grin.

Tracy nodded, thinking the same thing. "You're correct. There's no reason for me not to give it a go..."

Glenda is a do-it-yourself activist, so the following day she sent Tracy's efforts from three years ago to the editor-in-chief's office.

"Ms. Michaelson is your friend?" stated editor Lance Anderson after looking at the work's signature for half a day.

"Yes, she is extremely powerful, and her works are equally spirited, and we will not suffer losses if we sign her." Glenda responded instantly with a lovely grin.

Lance was well aware of Michaelson's might. She was like a flash in the jewelry design business, blooming quickly and then disappearing without a trace. Some claim that after receiving the prize, she ran out of ideas and was unable to make any further works. Others claim that the designer married a wealthy guy and had a kid.

Overall, there are several tales surrounding the legendary designer's unexpected disappearance. But no one expected her to reappear after three years, when everyone had forgotten about her.

"Does she have time tonight?" Lance inquired. "How about we share a meal?"

Glenda knew Tracy had won the job the moment she heard the invitation. "Yes, I will tell her right now."

......

Tracy and Glenda's editor-in-chief also had an excellent conversation during dinner. Although she continually said that she had not picked up a paintbrush in the previous three years, Lance commented that it was OK and only asked her to create a sketch of her work in the necessary style over the week. If the employer believes there are no issues, she may sign the contract straight. So the meal was a success.

"I wouldn't recommend taking a cab around here. You two females are not safe, therefore please return." Lance said.

"OK, boss," Glenda says, turning to Tracy, "but I'll go to the bathroom first." "... You?"

Tracy gave a nod. "I also need to go to the bathroom."

Glenda said with a grin. "Wait for us, Chief Lance." We shall return shortly."

Lance cracked a grin. "It's okay, don't worry, and take your time."

As a result, the two head to the restroom together.

"Your problem has now been resolved..." Glenda stated as she cleaned her hand and looked in the mirror.

Tracy was surprised or concerned that everything went so smoothly: "Yeah, but as I previously stated, I am unsure about my future work." I'm concerned that your supervisor will be dissatisfied when the time comes..."

"Baby, you overthink... Our CEO is much too elderly to meddle in management... Basically, Chief Lance handles everything. There will be no difficulty since Editor Lance adores you." Glenda said.

The sound of high heels stomping on the ground came from the bathroom door as soon as Glenda's voice faded. Amanda arrived in front of them the next second.

Both parties were taken aback.

Amanda sniffed sarcastically, "It's you again... I can't believe you're going to follow us around!"

Tracy drew a piece of paper from her pocket to wipe the wetness off her palm. "Say it directly if you want to be beaten." "You don't have to say your crazy thought..." she murmured, half-smirking.

"You..."

Amanda takes a peek at Tracy, then at her friend. She failed to bully her the last time she was alone.

"What do you want me to do, Tracy?" Do you need my assistance in exposing this insane whore? Perhaps I can acquire a microphone and proclaim her perverted personality to this area..." Glenda stated this while resting against the wall, arms folded over her chest.

Tracy received a smirk from Amanda. "Huh! Are you talking to me? Tracy, have you forgotten everything you went through simply to be Mrs. Pattinson? Let's just pretend I'm your junior and, based on appearances, I'm better than you."

Glenda wanted to fight back but Tracy stopped her. She gave Amanda a serene gaze. "... Did Sean tell you about that?"

Amanda seemed to be a lady with a massive chest but no brain. She hadn't brought it up before, and seeing her now joyfully tumbling down the well, she could only indicate that she just knew.

"Yes, Sean expressed displeasure with a lady like you! And he remarked that seeing you at twilight was the worst thing that had ever happened to him. You were like a stinking dog skin plaster, shredded and stinky, and he wanted to massage all the flesh that touched you." Amanda concluded her sentence while staring at Tracy's expressionless face. Amanda took a cautious step back after realizing she was terrified.

But who knew Tracy was too lazy to accomplish anything? She just tossed the paper that had been used to wipe her hands in the garbage and turned to go.

Glenda saw this and pursued her. "Are you all right, Stars?" Ignore that snide comment. Huh?" Glenda didn't continue her statement because she glanced up and spotted the guy standing nearby, chatting to others.

Tracy, on the other hand, hastily went without turning her head, pretending not to notice Sean.

Denis Ford could sense a faint murderous vibe approaching him from behind him, so he couldn't help but turn his head and stare at the lady who was growing closer and closer. "Wait, isn't that your wife?" "What brings her here?" he inquired.

Sean glanced up, and his expression altered when he noticed Tracy. (Did she accompany him here only so he could sign the divorce papers?)

Sean prepared some fiery remarks as she approached, but to his astonishment, Tracy passed without even glancing at him.

Tracy swept past as quickly as a blast of wind, expressionless.

"......"

Glenda, who was close following, stopped at Sean's side and opened her lips to reprimand him, but thought the moment was wrong, so she took out her leg and bolted.

Denis, who was there during the procedure, laughed twice to relieve his discomfort. He mumbles, "Did I recognize the wrong person?" Everyone in society knows Sean despises his wife or claims he despises her.
