Chapter 18. Henry's Birthday
Sunny’s POV
Here I was again, standing awkwardly in the middle of the crowd while holding a glass of champagne in my hand, which I kept on drinking whenever someone passed my way. Oh God, if it wasn’t my first love’s birthday, I would probably think even of the most awkward excuses I could say just for me not to be able to attend. I’ve been clutching the blue paper bag to my chest. I was so nervous about giving it to him yet. And if you think about where my beautiful sister was, she was there in the kitchen, laughing with her and Henry’s friends as usual. “Hey, Sunny! Is that you, Sunny?”
I almost choked from my champagned when I suddenly heard a voice of a woman beside me. I tilted my head beside me and saw Henry’s mom smiling at me. “Auntie Margaret!”
“Oh, Sunny, I already knew it was you! You’re the only one wearing such thick round glasses here.” She said, not knowing if that was an insult or a compliment. “Why don’t you mingle with others? Have you seen Henry
