Chapter 47. Confrontation

Damon’s POV

“Mr. Furlord, you have a visitor.” said Edward.

I put my pen down and looked at him. “Who is it?”

“It’s Mr. Knight. Jared Knight, Sir.”

“Let him in.” I said. 

I leaned on my swivel chair as I waited for the door to open. What was that asshole doing here? 

I balled my hand into a fist. Just hearing his name made me feel mad already. 

The door of my office went open, and I immediately saw Jared walking toward me with that usual annoying smile on his face. “Good Morning, Mr. Furlord.”

“What do you want from me?” I asked without looking at him.

“I want to talk to you.”

“I don’t have time for you.” 

“It’s about Sunny.”

I stopped for a while. I gripped my pen tight and glared at him. “What about her?”

“I like Sunny.” He blurted.

I laughed sarcastically. “Dude, are you serious? You’re saying those things in front of her boyfriend?”

“I don’t care if you’re her boyfriend.
