Chapter 141. Stay Quiet and Stay Alert

William POV

I could feel the tension building within me, my mind focused on the task ahead.

Not long, the castle came into view. We were almost close and if we went on with the car...with how quiet the night was, we would be spotted so I immediately hushed the driver to stop. He did and others followed suit.

“Find somewhere and park,”

I hushed as if someone could hear us. The driver nodded and we parked in a secluded area, the trees casting deep shadows that hid us from view.

I then turned to Elara, my voice barely above a whisper.

“We’ll go the rest of the way on foot. Stay quiet and stay alert.”

She nodded, her eyes gleaming with understanding. I climbed down and signaled others to come down. Soon, they all did.

I scanned them, my gaze sweeping across their faces before I ordered, my voice low and commanding.

“Let’s move out.”

They nodded and followed me instantly.
