Chapter 93. Nothing Important About Her
Ryder POV
I walked into my father’s office, which I quite remember with Logan right beside me. As soon as I pushed the door open, my gaze fell on him and that of my mother.
“Oh. You are awake,” my mom dramatically stood up from the chair she was sitting on and strode toward me for a hug.
I hugged her back, she kneaded my back before she pulled away. Her face brightened up with a smile.
I could see the happiness on their faces, I mean that of my father as well. “We are glad that you are awake, son,” he said with a smile. I smiled and gave him a small nod, my inside feeling so restless.
Her face kept flashing back into my mind. Why do her tears affect me this much?
I have a lot of questions in my head but yet, but the more I think about this, the more confused I get.
Elara said she was the woman that had attempted to kill me but if that’s the issue what would she then be doing in the castle, I mean in the main building, wandering alone?
