Chapter 4
There are so many unfamiliar people outside the car that Cassa doesn’t know. They look aggressive and of course this scares Cassa, but on the other hand, Cassa is grateful because Delbert is outside his car and trying to protect her.
“What do you want? Why do you want to attack that woman?” Delbert asks the vampire in front of him right now.
One of the vampires smiles menacingly at Delbert. Their sharp teeth and pale faces are terrifying to Cassa, who is watching them from inside the wild car.
Cassa chooses to reverse her car, but quickly some vampires behind Cassa’s car hold the woman to prevent her from leaving the area.
“The woman who was just with you is pregnant, you know that we always like pregnant women to take their fetuses, you shouldn’t have brought her to this place,” warns Rose.
Delbert takes a deep breath, he stares at all the vampire conspirators in front of him.
“Do you forget that this is the territory of Werewolves? By stepping foot here, that means you want to wage war against our kind,” says Delbert calmly.
Rose looks at Delbert and then looks at Cassa, who is inside the car and frightened. Rose smiles before finally looking back at Delbert.
“Hey, we don’t want a war. We have just expelled the champion from our tribe, I think you should just surrender the woman in the car to us and our business will be done in this territory,” says Rose with her pale and unfriendly face.
“Why should I surrender her? This is my territory, leave before I call all the wolves to destroy your abode. You have seen who is superior,” Delbert says again.
Delbert looks at Cassa and tells her to leave the place immediately. However, the vampire family who is the enemy of the Werewolves restrains Cassa again.
“What should I do? I shouldn’t have come here,” says Cassa regretfully, she didn’t know that her ex-boyfriend is a werewolf.
If only Cassa knew what was really happening, maybe she would try to forget her unborn child without its father.
“Alright, we will let her live this time. However, we are not kind enough to let her go next time,” says Rose and after that, they all leave in front of Delbert.
Delbert immediately gets into Cassa’s car and apparently he is not as scary as earlier. Delbert returns to being a normal human after his anger subsides.
“Are you alright? I will take you home, I’m afraid they might stop you on the way.”
Delbert quickly calms Cassa down, Cassa doesn’t answer Delbert’s question at all and she just changes positions with Delbert. Now Delbert is at the wheel and Cassa is beside him.
“What are they all? Their appearance is very different from yours, are they criminals?” Cassa asks, looking around with a fearful expression.
“They are vampires, their appearance is the same as ordinary humans, but they are not normal. Be careful, I’m sure they went away out of curiosity and they will never let you go after this,” says Delbert, still looking straight at the road ahead before they finally leave the place.
Meanwhile, at home, Alano looks at himself in the mirror in the toilet. He sees himself tired of waiting, but Cassa still hasn’t returned home even though it’s late at night.
“Where did Cassa actually go last night?” Alano asks before finally hearing the sound of a car parked outside his house.
Alano quickly goes out and finds Cassa getting out of the car and then hugging him. Cassa is afraid, but she can’t tell her husband what just happened.
“I’m sorry for coming home late. I just wanted to go alone because I’m not used to being at home,” Cassa says with a pale and frightened face.
“Really? Your face is so pale,” Alano says worriedly. His annoyance earlier turned into worry for his newly arrived wife.
“Come in, it’s not good to stay outside the house for too long,” Cassa quickly brings her husband into the house.
Cassa remembers what Delbert said about her and Alano not being outside the house at night.
Alano can only comply with what Cassa says and they have entered their house. Cassa quickly closes the door and goes to the kitchen to look for garlic.
“Cassa, what are you really doing? What’s out there?”
Alano follows his wife to the kitchen and finds his wife arranging garlic with a string.
“Quickly help me, we have to arrange this garlic and put it in front of the door,” Cassa says without explaining what actually happened.
Alano is surprised and he doesn’t just stay silent seeing Cassa behaving strangely.
“Stop, what is really happening? Tell me so I’m not confused!” Alano says firmly, feeling strange about his wife’s behavior.
“Don’t you listen to what I say? I just ask you to help me arrange this garlic, is that difficult for you?” Cassa asks with an annoyed face.
Panic and anger mix together.
“Fine, do what you want. However, it seems like you forgot that I’m allergic to garlic. I will never be able to touch it,” Alano reminds Cassa what he can’t touch.
Cassa falls silent upon hearing Alano’s words, she panicked and ignored what Alano couldn’t touch. Guilt makes Cassa stop her activity.
“Is that so? Did you previously tell me that?” Cassa asks, not remembering what Alano said.
Alano just nods and Cassa apologizes for what happened.
“Oh, I see. It seems like I forgot a few things and it might have offended you, well, I will finish arranging all the garlic again and put it in front of the door so that no one can enter.
Cassa continues her activity and Alano sees Cassa’s cell phone lying on the table. Curiously, Alano tries to see the contents of Cassa’s gallery.
Alano falls silent and sends the photo to his phone before returning Cassa’s phone to the table. Alano leaves the living room and enters his room.
“So, this is what Cassa is hiding? Why didn’t she just tell me?” Alano asks, confused and constantly thinking about what actually happened to Cassa that made her keep him in the dark.”
