Chapter 5

“Why are you smiling like that?” asked Cassa, who had just come out of her room. She saw Alano standing in front of her room, holding breakfast in his hands and smiling.

“So, what is this? Did you cook all of this?” Cassa continued as she saw the breakfast in Alano’s hands.

Alano just smiled and led the woman back into the room. He was truly happy today knowing that he would be a father, it was very exciting for Alano.

“Darling, today I cooked for you. Luckily, I have the day off and will be staying home with you. Just let me know if you need anything,” Alano said with a very happy face.

Cassa became more confused by Alano’s behavior. She didn’t know what had happened to him that made him so caring towards her.

Alano also prepared food for her, even though Cassa usually prepared breakfast for Alano in the morning.

“Wow, what’s really going on with you? Did you eat something wrong?” Cassa asked, wanting to know why her husband had changed like this
