Chapter 14

Sandy’s POV

The sound of leaves rustling beneath my feet and the wind blowing against my face was all that accompanied me as I ran through the forest. My heart was racing, and my breaths were coming out in short pants. I could hear my friends Jackson, Luna, Dylan, and Maria running beside me, their footsteps pounding the ground. We have been running through the night and are still being chased by a group of werewolves led by Max from the Silver Fang Pack.

I turned to look behind me, and I could see the eyes of the werewolves glowing in the dark as they chased us. We tried to outrun them, but they were fast, and soon we were separated. I was on my own, with no idea where my friends were. Fear gripped me as I continued to run, with no idea where I was headed.
