Chapter 19

Tommy’s POV

I opened my eyes to the bright light streaming in through the window. It was a new day and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of anticipation mixed with fear. Today was the day the Dark pack would finally take down my father, the alpha of the pack, and his beta. It was a necessary step to take, but it didn’t make it any less terrifying.

Judy stirred next to me, and I turned to her with a smile. She looked up at me with sleepy eyes, but then her expression turned serious. We both knew what today held in store for us.

“Are you ready for this?” I asked her, even though I wasn’t sure I was ready myself.

“I am,” she said, determined in her voice. “We’ve come this far. We can’t back down now.”
