Chapter 41

Judy’s POV

As I sat in my room, I couldn’t help but feel conflicted about what I was about to do. Anderson had just told me about Kate, Mark, and Vin’s plan to find Sandy, and Tommy had given him a gun and instructed him to kill them. I knew it was wrong, but I also knew that I couldn’t go against Tommy’s plans.

I paced back and forth in my room, trying to come up with a plan. Maybe I could warn them somehow? But how could I do that without Tommy finding out? I felt a pit in my stomach as I thought about the consequences if I got caught. It would really be consistent as a treasonous act, and I can’t risk getting caught.

As I sat down on my bed, trying to calm my racing thoughts, there was a knock on my door. I quickly composed myself and opened the door to find Tommy standing there with a stern expression on his face.

“Judy, we need to talk,” he said, pushing past me and entering my room.

“What’s going on?” I asked, trying to hide my nervousness.
